Christmas and other productions
Looks like I'm playing in the Living Christmas Tree production again this year. The orchestra director for the past 15+ years moved out of state this summer. One of the sax players is taking over, so it's going to be a little different, but I'm sure lots of fun. (I'm sure not doing it for the cash - which is minimal at best). She's not sure what I'll be playing yet; I've always played tuba, but she was leaning towards bass last I head from her. Holly (french horn) and I are carpooling to the numerous rehersals this year.
I also agreed to help Brent write some basic pop music this week. He's good at coming up with lyrics and a tune, but can't write or read music to translate to his friend/producer.
In non-music news I bought a bike on sale today at Target ($64) and by next week I hope to be biking to and from work and other errands.
